Gulet Adriatic Holiday - Croatia yacht charter

Our first time on a private charter and we'd do it again!! My family of 5 with 3 adult children completely enjoyed our 5 nights on the Adriatic Holiday! I never thought we could be so comfortable living on a boat! Captain Ante and his crew were so professional, easy and accommodating. They made sure we happy and got to see everything we wanted to all along our trip. The food and display was plentiful and first class! We loved Chef Damir!! He is a very talented chef and he was quite a character! He even accompanied us into one of the island towns and showed us around. We loved how we would cruise for about 3-4 hours each day. We had breakfast and lunch on the boat. This left time for swimming and using the water toys and then time to explore the island of the day and have dinner at a local restaurant each night. Boating is definitely the best way to see the beauty of Croatia. We would love to come back to explore some more of the many islands we did not see! You will have a wonderful and unforgettable trip aboard the Adriatic Holiday with Ante and his crew!!

We had a fantastic family vacation onboard the Adriatic Holiday the first week of their 2024 season. Ante was a great communicator, professional and provided excellent recommendations to us before and during our charter. His knowledge from 8 years as a Captain chartering the Adriatic Holiday on the Dalmatian Coast was invaluable. The boat comfortably accommodated our group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers. All of the meals onboard were delicious. The Croatian wines and homemade grappa were delightful and free flowing. We would highly recommend Ante as your Captain for your Dalmatian Coast island hopping adventure!

We met up with the Adriatic Holiday crew in Split after spending a memorable night in the city. Ante the captain himself came out to meet us and safely escorted our party of 8 to his waiting vessel. The Adriatic Holiday Gullet, was more than we expected. It accommodated our party comfortably with large bedrooms each having a good size on suite bathroom with instant hot water and ample air-conditioning. This made sleeping through those hot Adriatic nights a pleasure. Every morning we were started the day with cappuccinos and an amazing breakfast. We opted for the sometimes on board dinner and by so doing got to experience the amazing food prepared by Victor the Adriatic Holidays professional chef. We did not want for anything, the all-inclusive package made sure we always has a cold drink and plenty of food. Ante's skippered us himself and that made all the difference, being owner run the Adriatic Holiday experience always went that step further, finding secret coves and interesting islands was an indication of Ante's vast experience of the area. We sailed south to end in Dubrovnik, we were all very sad that the 7 nights onboard had come to an end and I would strongly recommend this adventure on the Adriatic Holiday to anyone who wants to really relax and have a true hassle free memorable holiday. Our week aboard the Adriatic Holiday was amazing. Every day was more beautiful than the day before. Our captain Ante's first priority was our safety and he was completely worthy of our trust in him. Still, he kept a lighthearted and playful atmosphere, allowing for as much flexibility in our schedule as possible. He was incredibly accommodating. The ship's chef Antonijo did not disappoint! He did his best to meet all of our dietary accommodations. The meals we ate aboard were more delicious than any we had in port. Darko is an incredibly hard working first mate. He is so attentive and wanted to take care of each of us as best he could. Darko's wine selections were fantastic - I think we tried more than 10 wines and every single one was as good as the fine wines I routinely enjoy at home. Additionally, each crew member was attentive to, patient, flexible, and helpful with the small child that was part of our group. The Adriatic Holiday herself is beautiful, well maintained, safe, and well equipped. The cabins are comfortable and perfectly spacious, with good storage space. Our trip with Ante, Antonijo, and Darko was absolutely unforgettable.

Our family spent a week on the Adriatic Holiday first week of August this summer and it was totally fantastic – I think will go down as our best EVER family holiday. The boat is everything you could ever want and need on a boating holiday and the week was made by the brilliant crew. Captain Ante and his team were perfect; the route they helped us chose was beautiful (and the bays they found for lunch stops incredible), the food delicious, the activities and restaurants they suggested were excellent without exception and their ability to make us feel at home, welcome and relaxed onboard made the week what it was. They were wholly supportive of all the fun we had and we are so grateful for their efforts. We were 10 (aged between 60 and 22) and all had spacious, comfortable cabins with AMAZING showers and AC too. We couldn’t recommend the Adriatic Holiday more and hope so much to be able to spend another week onboard in the coming years. Thank you Ante, Antonijo, Luka and Ivan for looking after us so well, and for sharing your beautiful country with us!

Three years later, it was once again a dream to spend a week cruising the Croatian islands with Ante and his team. Ante knows all the super bays, beautiful little harbours and always ensures a safe stay. Antonio was a super cook, the pasta with seafood a dream. Ivan was always in a good mood and it was great with him. Luca had everything under control. Top top top! We definitely want to come back a third time!!!! Best Jan

Every day with Ante and his crew was an absolute dream. They were very accommodating, friendly, professional, and such genuine people! There were such beautiful personal touches, like vegetables from their family garden and homemade grappa (a must-try!), that it’s clear how much pride Ante takes in providing guests with a wonderful experience. The moment you wake up and head upstairs, a coffee (or tea) appears magically in front of you (I really miss this). The food was wonderful; 3-course meals for lunch and dinner, and a very full breakfast! Croatia is stunning everywhere you look, and waking up to being right on the Adriatic Sea was a delight. Wine was never far — Darco took care of us in choosing excellent local Croatian wines and beers, paired beautifully with Antonio’s meals. Our 5-year old had a great time, too. He enjoyed the play structures near the docks (there was one almost everywhere we stopped), and the boat felt very safe for him. The crew was wonderful with him, chatting and playing when asked if they’d like to join in. This was a fantastic experience for him, he’s now rather sad we don’t have a gulet of our own. Ante planned a beautiful itinerary and navigated us safely around some problematic weather (he did it so skillfully that it never felt unsafe), and we ended up staying in Cavtat a day longer than originally planned. Even so, nobody minded because it was gorgeous and had plenty to enjoy. Words don’t do this trip justice. I think about it every day and wish desperately to go back!
